Trainer's Toolkit: Your roadmap to confidence

This toolkit is a resource to facilitate safe opioid prescribing training of physicians, NPs, PAs, nurses, and other clinicians in your institution or practice.

Just follow the steps below to educate your team in an interactive way.

STEP 1 Complete the self-learning SCOPE of Pain online activity

Instruct your clinicians and other staff to register and complete the Cme/CE-certified two case-based modules at ww.SCOPEofpain.org (2 hours; can be done asynchronously).

STEP 2 Register to choose from a menu of exercises in the "Trainer's Toolkit"

Use any or all of the resources for small group, interactive skills-based learning to apply the knowledge gained from the SCOPE of Pain online activity. Choose from several options to lead your colleagues through more in-depth discussion and practice, specifically around communication skills and applying a risk-benefit framework to managing chronic pain:
